Group Rates

We invite school groups, holiday parties, park districts, social organizations and other groups to attend our productions. We will do our best to make your trip to the theater special, fun, entertaining and as hassle-free as possible. Here are some frequently asked questions and answers.

What is the minimum size for a group purchase?
A minimum of ten (10) must be purchased to qualify for group discounts.

What is the maximum size for a group purchase?
In general, at the most we can accommodate groups of approximately 85 people. Note that TimeLine changes the seating configuration for each production, so the maximum seating capacity varies depending upon the configuration and design for each show. Please confirm the maximum seating capacity available when seeking to order for a large group.

Can we get tickets to any performance?
Tickets are subject to availability at time of reservation. TimeLine’s performance space is small and thus may sell out quickly. We recommend that you place a group order as early as possible in order to get tickets for the performance of your choice. Note that some performance dates may not be available to groups due to other special events (Opening Night, Sunday Scholars Series, etc.).

What is the discount for a group?
Group tickets are discounted as follows:

  • 10-24 tickets: 10% off
  • 25-44 tickets: 15% off
  • 45 or more tickets: 20% off

What is your group sales reservation and payment policy?
To reserve seats a signed copy of our Group Sales Contract and a minimum deposit of 25% is required. The 25% deposit may be waived if full payment is received within two weeks from the initial contract call. Deposits are non-refundable and may not be applied to another production.

Remaining payment is due in full at least three weeks before your performance date. If the performance is within three weeks, the balance must be paid within one week of the initial contract call.

If balances due are not received by stated deadlines, we may release your reservation.

Payment may be in the form of one company check (we regret that we cannot accept individual payments from group members). Additional forms of payment include cash, Visa and MasterCard.

What if I need to adjust my group size after making a reservation?
Reductions of the original total number of tickets are allowed up until three weeks prior to your performance, provided that the balance has not yet been paid. If the minimum number of 10 tickets is not met group discounts will not apply and tickets will revert to full price.

Additional tickets may be purchased at the group sales rate, but are subject to availability.

Once the remaining balance has been paid for your group sale, the ticket sale is final. There are no refunds or exchanges.

Any tickets that go unused on the day of the performance may be given to the box office for a tax-deductible donation letter, which will be mailed to you and your organization.
