NICK BOWLING (Director)
Nick is the recipient of two Joseph Jefferson Citations
for Directing (ANOTHER PART OF THE FOREST/Eclipse Theatre,
2001 and THE CRUCIBLE/TimeLine
Theatre, 2002) and was also nominated in 2003 for TimeLine's
HAUPTMANN and 2004
for TimeLine’s THE
LION IN WINTER. He was the Founding Artistic Director
of TimeLine Theatre and directed the inaugural production
of SUMMIT CONFERENCE.
He also directed the company's production of GASLIGHT,
the world premiere of STREETERVILLE
and most recently, concert readings of THE CRADLE WILL
ROCK and THRILL ME: THE LEOPOLD AND LOEB STORY.
Other credits include Shattered Globe's
TIME OF THE CUCKOO and FROZEN ASSETS, Shakespeare's
Motley Crew's PRESENT SLAUGHTER: THE COARSE ACTING PLAYS,
Rivendell's FACTORY GIRLS, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble's
ANGELS IN AMERICA, Impulse Theatre's BLITHE SPIRIT and
Carpe Noctem’s THE SUBJECT WAS ROSES. Nick graduated
from The Theatre School at DePaul University, where
he also served on the Directing faculty. Nick will next
direct Porchlight Music Theatre’s upcoming CLOSER
THAN EVER at Theatre Building Chicago this winter. |
