Jason Sherman

Jason Sherman is one of Canada’s leading playwrights; among his other works are Three in the Back, Two in the Head; The Retreat; Patience; The League of Nathans; Reading Hebron and, most recently, Remnants (A Fable). Mr Sherman has received the Governor General’s Award for Drama (and been nominated three other times) and the Chalmers Canadian Play Award (twice, along with three other nominations). He is working on an adaptation of The Brothers Karamazov for the Stratford Festival; new plays for the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, InterAct and the Wilma Theatres in Philadelphia; and a screen version of Three in the Back, Two in the Head. He lives in Toronto, and is playwright-in-residence with Soulpepper Theatre.
