Terry was last seen at TimeLine Theatre in the Chicago premiere of ENRON and portrays Ludwig van Beethoven in the 2012-13 season opener 33 VARIATIONS. He has appeared in numerous other TimeLine productions, including THE FRONT PAGE, the world premiere of TO MASTER THE ART, as Richard M. Nixon in FROST/NIXON (Equity Jeff Award nomination - Principal Actor, Play), the long-running and award-winning hit THE HISTORY BOYS, NOT ENOUGH AIR, Gore Vidal’s political comedy WEEKEND, the award-winning production of THIS HAPPY BREED (Non-Equity Jeff Award - Leading Actor), both the 2006 and 2008 productions of FIORELLO! (Non-Equity Jeff Award - Supporting Actor, Musical), PRAVDA (Non-Equity Jeff Award - Supporting Actor), WIDOWERS' HOUSES, THE GENERAL FROM AMERICA, COPENHAGEN and MARTIN FUREY'S SHOT.
Other Chicago credits include WAITING FOR LEFTY at American Blues Theater, ROSENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD at Writers' Theatre, and THE THREE MUSKETEERS, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW and TIMON OF ATHENS at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
Terry studied at the Lee Strasburg Institute and with Sonia Moore and Terry Schreiber in New York, and appeared on Broadway in O'CALCUTTA and off-off Broadway with Stanley Tucci in ROMEO AND JULIET.
He has toured and traveled extensively, performing in regional and dinner theaters throughout the country.
Television credits include THE PLAYBOY CLUB, CHICAGO CODE, EARLY EDITION and TURKS.
He will appear this winter in JULIUS CAESAR at The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and next spring in TimeLine's Chicago premiere of BLOOD AND GIFTS.
