Kathleen Ruhl

Kathleen, having thoroughly enjoyed her TimeLine appearances in THIS HAPPY BREED and GASLIGHT, is thrilled to be working with the company again. Other recent credits include LOST IN YONKERS, OVER THE TAVERN and COLLECTED STORIES at the Attic Playhouse; HAY FEVER at Court Theatre; and BOOK OF DAYS at the Piven Theatre Workshop. At Piven, Kathy also appeared in CHEKHOV: THE STORIES, TOP GIRLS, AMERICAN BLUES and EVERYTHING THAT RISES MUST CONVERGE. A lifetime ago, she was in numerous productions here at the Wellington Avenue Congregational Church when the Chicago City Players were in residence. Offstage, at the University of Illinois-Chicago, she teaches teachers to teach high-school English. Shout-outs to the many wonderful people in her life, especially her terrific daughters and sons-in-law (two of each), four engaging grandchildren, and Rich. All of them unfailingly provide support, pleasure and inspiration wherever they are.
