Keira Fromm
Keira received her undergraduate degree at Boston University’s School for the Arts. After spending several years directing, casting and producing in New York City, she moved to Chicago to pursue an MFA degree in directing at The Theatre School at DePaul University. She has directed at venues such as the Lark Theater Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival, HERE Performance Art Cafe, 78th Street Theatre Lab, South Street Seaport and the Club El Flamingo. She was the resident director on the popular off-Broadway shows THE DONKEY SHOW and THE KARAOKE SHOW. Keira also has been assistant director for shows at the Guthrie Theater, Mark Taper Forum and Public Theatre. She was casting director for the Music-Theatre Group for two seasons and is a member of Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab. This summer, she directed a staged reading at Chicago Dramatists. Her recent directing credits at DePaul include STOP KISS, BABY WITH THE BATHWATER, THE CHAIRS and THE GOAT, OR WHO IS SYLVIA?. She will direct THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES this fall as her thesis production.
